I knew God as early as 14years of age.And I have been known with the title;"Pastor" since then even when I ran away from it.Due to the passion I had for God I could not get away from pastorial ordination.I personally have a lot of issues with the title "Pastor"and the wave of new Churches springing up everyday.As much as most of them have questionable character associated with them ,with most people seeing it as a business and are rushing into it because of the Business part of it.
But you can't deny the fact that not all pastors are fake and not all churches are not from God.The presence of a fake is a validation that there is an original.However, this particular article is not about churches but about scandals.
We have had series of scandals attached with a lot of pastors ranging from Women to money to Prophecies to Private jet.Let's start with Women scandal.
Women/Marital scandal
I personally don't think this is a new issue. Scripturally we have several of them.Let's look at Moses.
Moses is a servant of God.He's the only man that ever saw God face to face without being in a trance or vision.He saw God live.God wrote the 10commandment with His finger and gave it to Moses.Moses pastored 2million people daily for 40years that's a feat no one has been able to beat till date. But this same man married a foreign woman that he told the people he pastored not to marry.
As a result two important people in his life and some other member of the congregation murmured and complained.
Let me remind you that Mariam and Aaron were older siblings of Moses.They also where prophet and priest and you will say they have the right to air their opinion.However, my God is not a Democrat.He doesn't need your opinion.
God rebuked them.Some suffered instant death as the ground opened and swallowed them up.Mariam was struck with leprosy and that was the last we heard of her.She lost her dignity and honor doing what you would have called the right thing.
Remember this;A man of God is not your man but God's man.He's accountable to God primarily.You didn't know when God called the pastor you speak so evil of.One of the many count charge God accuse Mariam and her team of was that Moses was his friend as he speaks to him face to face and that none of them have reached that hierarchy.
Let me compare a pastor to a microphone.If President Obama speak through a Microphone to a large audience how many of you will focus on the microphone instead of Obama?None perhaps because everything you hear in that speech is obamas' ,same way a pastor is just human like you.The only thing that makes him important is God. However, when the president is speaking no one dare touching his microphone except it malfunctions and that will be on the president's directive before anyone remove such mic.
When You touch a man of God that God speaks through you will suffer the wrath of God.Many do it but I don't join them because he said touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.Am not he's God hence,its none of my business to judge him.The judgement of a man of God is in God's hand.Many people have met untimely death because of what they said against a man of God.Even if what you are saying is true.You don't have a business saying evil about that person because you didn't call him.
Remember to Tell your critics to hold on,tell those who can't see the good in you to stay tuned,tell your admirer they ain't seen nothing yet because your Author is re-editing you for GREATNESS
