I don't know how much Saka had in his account before MTN contract but I can say this,not all model are qualified for such an offer that makes you 20Million Richer overnight.
There are certain factors that qualify you for such favor.
1)Diligence: Etisalat did a lot of advert since they entered Nigerian market.A lot of those advert appeal to the Literate Nigerian but ...none pigin advert appeal like that of saka to the general populace. Even their current porting advert does not command mileage like it would have if saka had done it.It shows us the power of diligence.Yes Etisalat gave me the advert platform but his diligence made the difference.Little wonder the Hewbrew proverb says;"seeth thou a man diligent in his business,he shall stand before kings and not mere men"
2)Be portable:Some of us are currently engaged in a work or business that has locked our destiny up for life.Make sure what you do allow you to be flexible enough to port any day any time.
Don't be short sighted.As far as your eyes can see will determine how far you will go.Someone else would have settled for what Eticelet was paying him even though there is room for more.
There is more on your inside and there is more for you.Don't be caged.Go for more.Don't sign stupid contracts that will cage your life and destiny.
3)Take Risk:Saka could have lost both ways if something went wrong while trying to sign over to MTN.
Some may say you like money and some may say you are too proud but don't settle for less.Import business was the first business breakthrough Dangote had;Importing Sugar,Salt,Rice and other food items but he latter saw potential in manufacturers .This gave him more pressure and trouble but was responsible for making him the Richest black man.
The higher the risk the higher the profit.Life favours the brave.Only those who take risk stay great.

Lessons from saka's story.
ReplyDelete1. We need to love ourselves and appreciate the gifts we have and then love our creator. Love conquers a whole lot and most people who don't love and appreciate themselves really don't attain much. I'm sure saka loved and appreciated himself and that's why he does his work with grace and joy.
2. We need to learn to be dynamic with whatever we have discovered to be our gifts/talents. So that we get not just fit in well but show great excellence wherever we find ourselves.
3. Another lesson we need to learn is to be deligent in whatsoever we do because even the bible says that 'whatsoever our hands finds to do,we should do it well' because we are going to be rewarded. I'm sure saka was very deligent with his work because he express so much grace with the adverts and even soaporas. In our work,relationships or whatever we are doing, we shld od them deligently.
4. We need to learn to make good decisions especially when a risk is involved. We should not be intimidated or be afraid to make decisions. Being indecisive is even more deadly. We need to apply wisdom because its the principal thing and also having the right people around us will also help that.
5. We need to know our worth. Some people are not respected in their homes or places of work just because people see the way they handle things with no confidence at that. We need to know we are valuable and uniquely created. You find so many in relationships of 6-8years and its fruitless and you begin to ask what exactly do they want. If that man knows ur worth then he's going to do the right thing by officially making you his own. If that boss of yours knows your worth, he won't treat you or talk to you like trash because he knows loosing you is bad for the company and sometimes you need to make the see that. Saka I must say knows his worth.
6. You must put your best in anything you are doing. If you are married, learn to give your husband the best,make him feel like a King just like the woman in Proverbs 31. If you work for someone,put your best because its a seed you are sowing for yourself cos you will be your own boss someday. If you lead a group of any sort, make sure you give it your best and make it fruitful and definately human will not only reward you but God too.
